REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST
After 13 years in real estate, Alice found her calling for Science in dentistry. Completing her Bachelor of Science degree at UBC, Alice (Allie) continued her studies and obtained her diploma at the Vancouver College of Dental Hygiene. She strives to provide optimal client care and help clients to reach optimal oral health by educating them about oral self care and disease prevention. Alice is fluent in English, Mandarin and Taiwanese. She loves to spend time with her two children, run around in the park and watch cooking channels.
AVA
REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST
Ava graduated from Vancouver College of Dental Hygiene shortly after completing her Bachelor of Science in Biology from UBC. She is passionate about motivating and educating patients on disease prevention and oral self- care by communicating fluently in English and Hindi.
GRACE C
REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST, TEAM LEAD
After completing her Bachelor of Science degree at UBC, Grace obtained her diploma in Dental Hygiene. Graduating with high honours, the Professionalism Award, and the BCDHA Presentation Award, Grace continues to strive for the newest knowledge in dental hygiene to help her patients reach optimal oral health.
LEONA
REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST
Leona graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Sciences while working as a dental assistant at Centro Dental. She strives to deliver the utmost care to her patients and believes that education is the key to the prevention of disease and promotion of health.
MARY
REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST
After completing her Bachelor of Science degree at UBC, Mary continued her studies and obtained her diploma at the Vancouver College of Dental Hygiene. She enjoys educating patients on oral hygiene techniques most suited to their unique anatomies and lifestyles. Mary carries this knowledge outside of Centro Dental by volunteering her time to educate children and adults with special needs on individualized oral hygiene methods.

CERTIFIED DENTAL ASSISTANT
Alice is a graduate of the CDA Level 2 Program at Vancouver Community College in 2012. Her goal is to work at an efficient pace and to make sure her patients feel most comfortable.
Alice enjoys gardening and spending time with her husband and their two sons.
BEVERLY
CERTIFIED DENTAL ASSISTANT
Beverly, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Doctor of Dental Medicine in the Philippines, made Saudi Arabia her home for 19 years working 8 years as a dental assistant, 7 years as a hygienist and 4 years as an implant clinic-supervisor. In 2008, Beverly and her family immigrated to Canada. In 2011, she took the Ortho Module in UBC under Dr. Paul Witt.
In her spare time, Beverly loves to play lawn tennis.
MARY-JO
CLINICAL OPERATIONS MANAGER & CERTIFIED DENTAL ASSISTANT
Mary-Jo (MJ) has been in the dental profession for over 36 years and of those, 35 years has been working with Dr. Allan Woo which MJ claims has offered her the luxury of developing life-long relationships with her patients – her absolute favourite part of her job.
MJ completed the Orthodontic Module in the Health Sciences at UBC, and recently completed several courses in Invisalign® technology.
MJ loves long walks with her hubby and her 90-pound “puppy”.
ALICIA
OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR/ DENTAL ASSISTANT
Alicia graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and first joined Centro Dental in 2016 as a dental assistant.Today, you can also find her in the front as a dental administrator working to ensure your visit is seamless from beginning to end. An avid foodie, in her spare time Alicia enjoys trying new restaurants, exploring the city and baking.
JANET
OFFICE MANAGER
Janet joined Centro Dental after 30 years working in the telecommunications industry. Her career spanned from Corporations, National Telco, Marketing/Engineering and Human Resources. She graduated from Vancouver Community College in Business Communications and studied in BCIT in Business Management.
Janet loves to travel with her husband, two daughters and her big extended family enjoying the many different epicurean delights around the world, especially desserts!
JEANNIE
OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
Jeannie was born and raised in Canada. For 22 years she worked in Hong Kong’s fashion industry as a fashion buyer for Karl Lagerfeld – one of the most exciting times of her life. She moved back to Vancouver in 2015 with her husband and their young son. Jeannie loves communicating with people and really enjoys working with the big Centro Dental family. She enjoys every stage of her life. She loves life, being positive and feeling blessed.
JUDITH
OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
In 2018, Judith came back to work with Dr. Allan Woo and joined the Centro Dental team after spending 16 years in Portland, Oregon. Prior to moving to Oregon, she worked for Dr. Allan Woo for 6 years and loved the connections she made with the patients, which is what drives her - her passion for people. She loves interacting and engaging with everyone she meets. Helping patients to feel relaxed and comfortable is her main goal. In her spare time, Judith enjoys playing the piano and singing, and in the summer, hiking and long walks.
KIMBERLEY
OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
Prior to joining the Centro Dental family, Kimberley’s wealth of knowledge in the dental industry comes from working as a receptionist for an orthodontist office for over 6 years. She loves interacting with patients and always goes above and beyond to ensure patients feel welcomed and valued during each visit. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, reading, learning how to cook and exploring the outdoors with her son, husband and friends.
SHIRLEY
OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
Shirley was born in Hong Kong and moved to Vancouver when she was 10. Prior to joining Centro Dental, she was a flight attendant with Cathay Pacific for 12 years. She enjoys traveling and she is always looking for new adventures. Shirley really enjoys working with the Centro family and looks forward to meeting the patients at Centro Dental. She hopes to deliver a positive and memorable experience for our patients.

OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR, TEAM LEAD
Peggy joined Centro Dental in 2014 with over 10 years of dental receptionist experience. She loves to learn and attended various implant, periodontal and smile design study clubs. Peggy excels in assisting patients with dental treatment and insurance coverage needs. What she enjoys the most is working with Centro’s compassionate dental team and helping patients in developing healthy lifestyles.
